As a vital part of O'Brien County, we are currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our five-person Board of Health. If you are a licensed physician, physician assistant, advanced registered nurse practitioner, or advanced practice registered nurse, we encourage you to apply and make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents throughout the county.

The Board of Health is responsible for guiding a wide range of essential public health services, including environmental health, public health nursing, health promotion and education, home care services, disease prevention and investigation, health planning and development, and public health preparedness. Our mission is to ensure that every resident has access to quality health resources, education, and support, fostering a healthier and safer community for all.

Meetings are held bi-monthly, and Board members serve a three-year term, providing ongoing leadership and oversight for county health initiatives.
