Cook Position – Le Mars Head Start/EHS Center, Iowa

As part of our Le Mars Head Start/EHS Center team, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a supportive and mission-driven environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED. Prior cooking experience or strong cooking knowledge is required, making this a great fit for those who enjoy preparing meals, creating menus, and ensuring children receive healthy food every day. Your responsibilities will include cooking, grocery shopping, following established menus and recipes, and handling related paperwork. Organizational skills and attention to detail are key as you help us meet high standards for food safety and program compliance.

Because our staff is vital to our transportation and outreach efforts, a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation are necessary.
