As a Cook at our Head Start/EHS Center, you’ll play a vital role in providing nutritious meals to children and ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. This full-time position offers a consistent 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, providing you with evenings and weekends off to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, and you should have either cooking knowledge or previous experience in the kitchen. Your responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, grocery shopping, following planned menus and recipes, and completing required paperwork. Your organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, you will need a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation to help with grocery shopping and other potential errands necessary to keep our operation running smoothly.
